MagicTile is still wonderful for me. This year too I have solved 8 MagicTiles sofar.
For two of them this is the first solve. Those two have the special name “Super Chop”. These have very deep cuts and only onecolor pieces.
Here is the list of the solves
1) elliptical sphere octahedron face turning 020 and 200
2) elliptical sphere octahedron edge turning 100
3) elliptical sphere octahedron edge turning 1.33-0-0
4) elliptical sphere octahedron face turning 020, edge turning 010, vertex turning 001
5) elliptical sphere octahedron face/edge/vertex turning 200 = Super Chop !
6) elliptical sphere cube face/edge/vertex turning 201 = Super Chop !
7) elliptical sphere cube face turning –1:0:1, edge and vertex turning 100
8) elliptical sphere icosahedron face turning 0.33:0:1

There are still 11 unsolved MagicTiles in the class “elliptical sphere”!

The corresponding entries in the wiki-db are not yet made.
